Mr. Niels Grubbe is a former justice at the Supreme Court of Denmark. He has considerable experience in national and international arbitration and is still acting as the chairman of many arbitral tribunals. He is the former president of the judges’ presidium of the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board.
Until 2000 Mr. Niels Grubbe was an attorney-at-law specializing in company and partnership law, cooperative housing, commercial and housing rental law and construction law. Internationally he has been involved with the Central Eastern European Legal Initiative (CEELI), the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ) and Danida.
He speaks English, German, French, Russian and Chinese.
